Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a simple and safe procedure for exfoliating the epidermis and ridding the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). It has been used for many years,  many estheticians don’t perform this because it is time consuming & takes a lot of practice to master it well. Wanda Dunn, RN tells us  “This step is included in the “micro peel that I perform.  Sometimes “micro peel” is confused with “microdermabrasion”.  Both procedures have similar results.” Dunn adds “My patients especially like the derma planing that goes with the micropeel to get rid of hair.  Microdermabrasion is done with a machine that exfoliates and suctions the skin.”
